Creating Meaningful Experiences at Corporate Events

If you can create a meaningful experience for attendees of your next event, your company will leave a lasting impression that will stick with attendees for days, weeks, months and possibly even years to come.

From creating interactive game shows for general sessions to elevating networking events to fit a specific theme, MAC Production works with clients to design engaging and informative events that make an impact on audiences.

At MAC Productions, we leverage our expertise and creativity to bring to life our clients’ visions to achieve their goals. If you’re planning an upcoming event, take a step out of the box and try some of these unique approaches.

TIME TO PLAY THE GAME

Who doesn’t love a good game show? Pairing competition with unique personalities has long made them staples of television and popular culture.

As opposed to a standard speech or presentation, our team worked with a client recently to leverage a game show format at their large annual conference. It created a welcoming, participant-based activity that engaged attendees.

Sharing information in a Q&A or game show format allows attendees to test their knowledge of the company and learn more about it in a manner that feels inviting. A game show format also keeps non-participating audience members engaged.

Group games are inherent to team building, working together and consensus development – that sure beats hearing someone lecture about a topic at 9 a.m. in the morning, doesn’t it?

Of course, having top-notch set design, sound, video, and lighting brings the experience to life. It is at that point your “game” transcends into a full 3D, immersive experience that attendees will engage with, remember, and enjoy.

There’s more than one way to immerse your event attendees into your event — committing to a theme throughout your event can leave a lasting impression.

 SPEAKING EASY

A few years ago, one of our clients wanted a set for a post-event party that would reflect the fun spirit of the company.

We were able to construct a 1920s-themed speakeasy that featured a mock storefront leading into a nightclub where attendees would find a pseudo dance floor, a stage for performances/speeches and a bar area.

Constructing the set not only allowed MAC a chance to showcase our creative muscle, but it also afforded our client a similar opportunity to showcase its fun side and give event attendees something to talk about after the event.

Even if it’s not building a set from the ground up, when working with our clients, we want to help achieve our clients’ goals creatively, while ensuring the message is not lost.

Colors, ceiling heights, and other environmental factors all become part of the experience, helping attendees retain information while creating anticipation for your next event.

GET CREATIVE

There are clear signs when it comes to finding the right production company for your event. They answer all your questions, make suggestions based on your needs and interests, and most importantly, don’t try to fit your company into their box.

“This is how we always do it” may not be the best way for you to do it. Your needs as a client should always come before the desire of the production company. Good companies know this, which will be reflected in their finished product.
